We purchased this property 13 years ago after Rachael did a short time mustering on a friend’s Station out past Chillagoe and fell in love with the big open spaces of  ‘the outback’. Having both spent many years working in the Port Douglas area, Kevin, as a Rain-forest Guide and Rachael in hospitality we decided to move to Ironbark permanently 7 years ago, pursuing our love of nature, wildlife, a farming lifestyle and for Rachael, an amazing place for horse riding. Rachael has spent her entire life working, owning and caring for horses and loves sharing her experience with others.
